About Me
I started my Ph.D. education in Economics at the University of Biritish Columbia in 2006 after completing my B.A. in Economics at Bogazici University, Turkey. I am currently working on the effects of different financial environments and monetary rules on labor market outcomes, particularly on labor demand. I am also interested in business cycle fluctuations in small open economies. I expect to defend my dissertation untill May-2012. I am in the job market this year and will attend the meetings of CEEE in Toronto and ASSA in Chicago.

UPDATE: I am at UBC Okanagan for the academic year 2011-2012. I am teaching here "International Trade", "Money and Banking" and "Principles of Macroeconomics".
